Russ is president of Beacock Music in Vancouver, Washington. After graduating with a bachelor of arts degree from Washington State University, he worked for two years as sales manager at the Anaheim Hilton (yes, that Hilton!) He joined the family business in 1987. Russ is a past board member of NAMM. He is married to Heidi and has two daughters. Jane is six, and Sarah is four. |

Tracy Leenman is director of sales and marketing for Pecknel Music Company in Greenville, SC. She has served on the SCMEA Executive Board, the National Outreach Committee for The Charlie Horse Music Pizza Experience, and as South Carolina liaison to the VH-1 Save the Music Foundation. Her articles have been featured in Music Inc., School Band & Orchestra, and School Music Dealer magazines. Tracy plays principal bassoon in the Palmetto Concert Band (Columbia, SC) and performs with the Foothills Philharmonic Orchestra (Greenville, SC). She and her husband, Koas, have six children and five grandchildren.

Joel is president of Menchey Music Service, headquartered in Hanover, PA. Prior to buying Menchey Music Service in 1995, Joel worked as a financial analyst for the media/manufacturing firm Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff Co., located in York, PA. Joel has served as president of the Retail Print Music Dealers Association, and also sits on the board of the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center in York, PA. In his free time, Joel enjoys playing guitar and performing at local venues. Joel and his wife, Lara, have two sons, Jake and Ryan. |

Liz Reisman is president of Creative Music Center, headquartered in Monroe, CT. Prior to buying Creative Music in 2000, Liz worked as a journalist for several national magazines, including Forbes, SmartMoney and Golf Digest. In her free time, Liz enjoys playing the flute, as well as playing golf. Liz and her husband, Michael, have two children, Samantha and Charlie. |

Connie graduated in 1985 from a liberal arts college in northern Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in music management. She interned with Ward-Brodt Music Company during her last semester, and has continued working there in various positions to this day. She was promoted to band and orchestra department manager in 1990, and now serves as purchasing and order processing executive. Her husband, Rob, has been a Ward-Brodt school service representative for the past 20 years, Together they enjoy the outdoors, travel, and spending time with daughter Jenna and son Damien, who also work at the store.

Scott is president of Summerhays Music in Salt Lake City, UT. He earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Utah, where he earned several academic awards, including Dean's Scholar. He worked negotiating labor contracts and consulting to arts organizations before returning to the music industry. Scott, along with his wife Jill, enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, and hacking around the golf course. |

John Tarpley is secretary of Tarpley Music, a four-store, full-line retailer in Texas and New Mexico, with headquarters in Amarillo, Texas. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a fourth generation owner who has grown up in the music business. John and his wife, Shelli, have three very active boys, ages 6, 11 and 14. |

Grayson is vice president of Zeagler Music in Monroe, LA, established in 1968. He has been involved with the family-owned business for 27 years. Grayson has served on several boards, including those for NASMD, the Monroe Symphony and the Twin City Concert Band. He enjoys conducting, singing barbershop harmony and traveling. He is married to Kristina and they have three children, Daniel, Phillip and Maria. |
